Our product development team works tightly with our R&D department to create ergonomic products that succeed and lead in the marketplace. Rapid prototyping techniques allow us to quickly transform concepts into samples for usability studies and customer review.

Patented spring brake
Our patented spring brake mechanism is used in both the Maestro and Duet arms. It locks the height adjustment of the arm securely in place. A touch control mechanism allows users to easily adjust the height of the keyboard. The brake hides out of sight under the neck of the arm. The spring brake is zinc die-cast for durability and strength.

Patented ball bearing track
Our patented low-profile ball bearing track is exclusive to CompX ErgonomX. Its smooth glide complements the slide action of drawers found in premium desks and office storage. This precision slide system decreases play and deflection commonly associated with other storage systems.

Patented dial tilt adjustment
One of our most popular models, the Ovation, features a unique dial that changes the angle of the tray and shows you the precise angle as you turn the knob. This dial is easy to use and is ADA compliant.

Patented Lift-N-Lock(TM) mechanism
CompX ErgonomX's patented Lift-N-Lock(TM) wedge lock delivers easy one-step height adjustment with no knobs or levers. It automatically locks with the release of the tray. This arm is ADA compliant, meets ANSI and ANSI/HFES standards and exceeds BIFMA performance criteria. It's an elegantly engineered solution which allows for intuitive operation.
